Directions
Using a 1-1.5qt ice cream/frozen yogurt maker (ex. Cuisinart, Rival, etc…) Any ice cream maker or frozen yogurt maker can be used as long as it makes soft serve.
WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU START WITH A PINT BEFORE MAKING A QUART – SOME MACHINES WILL NOT BE COLD ENOUGH TO MAKE A QUART!
TO MAKE A PINT: (Simply DOUBLE to make a quart)
*2 rounded 70cc scoops (about 1/4 cup) of Neutral or Chocolate base
*16oz of water (Less water will make a creamier product!)
*Small container with lid that will hold 40oz
*1 flavoring (2.5 tsp) – * (see list below)
(1/2 tsp) – ** (see list below)
(1/4-1/2 tsp.) - *** (see list below)
(1/4 tsp) - **** (see list below)
Flavorings will flavor @ least 4 quarts
Note: Keep flavorings in refrigerator after opening and STORE BASE IN AN AIRTIGHT CONTAINER –ALWAYS stir dry ingredients before measuring! Neutral base you may have to break up solid pieces before measuring
Whisk base with water in container until completely dissolved – DO NOT MIX IN A METALLIC BOWL – only PLASTIC/GLASS. Cover and place in refrigerator (NOT FREEZER) for at least 8 hours, preferably overnight or 12 hours. Follow manufacturer's instructions for your ice cream/frozen yogurt maker. Add prepared cooled base and suggested measurement of flavoring. Also, you can add ingredients such as nuts, chocolate chips, fruit, but follow manufacturer's instructions for adding additional items. In Approx. 20-30 minutes you will be enjoying your frozen dessert! Please note that frozen yogurt is not as sweet as ice cream, but is extremely good & CREAMY! If your yogurt has ice crystals – mix with a wooden spoon to remove crystals (usually appears when using a machine with salt and ice). If you desire, transfer the frozen yogurt to another container and freeze for an hour to make it extra firm.

Fun Ideas: You may use Neutral flavorings in the chocolate base and try the Chocolate flavorings in the neutral base. Mix flavorings together for a unique taste – ex. Peanut Butter & Banana in a chocolate base!
